Plushie Dreadfuls’ Halloween collection offers a haunted hug

Unreleased plushies launch this September, featuring removable heads, bite marks, and folklore-inspired details while combining dark whimsy with emotional resonance

Tricksee Belle

Pleasanton, CA, September 2025 — As Halloween approaches, Plushie Dreadfuls, the toy company that promotes emotional well–being, empathy, and acceptance, is launching a collection of plush toys that connect spooky charm with heartfelt meaning.

The Halloween collection offers a curated selection of new characters, Tricksee Belle and Teke Teke Rabbit. Each brings their own twist of dreadfully creepy-cute charm to the collection. With more than 300,000 orders to date, the company continues to develop products that go beyond comfort, with each plush acting as a symbolic companion for unspoken emotions.

Tricksee Belle is a spooky-sweet bunny with a removable pumpkin head that embraces the season while offering more charm than fright. The Teke Teke Rabbit, inspired by Japanese yokai mythology, adds a darker folklore to the collection’s plush lineup.

They’re joined by returning seasonal favorites Bunny Lugosi, Headless Bunsman, Werebun, Wraith Bun, and Frankenbun’s Monster. Bunny Lugosi bears bite marks on his wrist and stalks gardens under the moonlight in search of carrot juice. Werebun is a werewolf bunny with an appetite for bananas and carrots every full moon. And Wraith Bun replaces fear with affection while sporting ghostly Edwardian-era collars and cuffs.

Then there’s Headless Bunsman, whose removable head reveals pure bunny fire beneath, equal parts fierce and endearing, while Frankenbun’s Monster, stitched together from the cuddliest of other rabbits, just wants to be loved. Rounding out the collection is Cinderella Rabbit, from the signature Victorian McGee line, complete with a tiny pumpkin purse and styled with the perfect amount of Halloween flair.

“Halloween is not all about costumes and candy. It’s a season when people are especially open to stories about transformation, identity, and self-expression, which are at the heart of each plush that we create. This collection is intended to give people something cuddly to hold while exploring those emotions,” shares American McGee, Creator and Founder of Plushie Dreadfuls.

With more than 300 plushie designs and a purpose rooted in emotional visibility, the brand has emerged as a symbol of connection for people living with mental health issues, chronic illness, and identity challenges.

The Plushie Dreadfuls Halloween line will go on sale starting September # through the brand’s official website.
